Well that wasn’t easy. I was sleeping so well last night and I thought for sure I would sleep through my alarm. Good news is I didn’t and I was actually up 15 minutes before! So before 8am I was out the door almost regretting my decision to not hop on a treadmill at the gym. The temperature was 26 degrees and I knew it would hurt. I was definitely struggling today during my 1.5 mile run. Before I even got to the end of the road I wanted to stop and walk, I did indeed push through and I didn’t walk a second! This training plan is a very slow progression and I think that will end up working out nicely for me. I spent a great deal of time yesterday mapping runs around home and school on my mapmyrun app. I am looking forward to my 2 mile on the schedule tomorrow and I may change it up and do it on a treadmill. Week one is almost done.
